Job Title: Sales Representative
Position Summary: An Outside Sales Representative position within our organization offers you a full-time position where you’ll receive company support in many forms, first and foremost taking over a current block of business which will translate into immediate earnings. And, commission continues on the block of business after year #1. In addition, we offer free leads, orphan customers, joint appointments, comprehensive training, top agent payouts, back office support, no rent work space, company issued computer and cell phone, continuing education, housing of licenses and a full range of employee benefits. You can work from either our Worcester or Boston offices with a sales geography territory within 60 miles of either office. This role offers unlimited earning potential. The more sales you close the more you earn! The right candidate is enthusiastic, career-minded, self motivated and seeking to work in a professional business-to-business sales environment providing a wide range of insurance products as a solution for each customer. An experienced and licensed insurance agent in the financial services field is highly encouraged to apply.

Essential Functions and Requirements:

  • Conduct needs-based, consultative sales presentations to a wide range of businesses & individuals
  • Ability to cross-sell Life Insurance, DI, LTC and Employee Benefits
  • Secure appointments to present to prospective customers
  • Sales skills that assist and position you to close sales
  • Articulate self-starter and team player with outstanding customer service skills
  • Two years of insurance sales experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • An outgoing, positive person who enjoys building relationships
  • Driven, disciplined, resilient, achievement-focused, coachable professional
  • Up to date experience with Health Care Reform (ACA) issues facing businesses

Job Title: Senior Director, Middle Market Head of Sales & Service
POSITION SUMMARY **This Market Head position does require candidates to reside in the Boston area**This senior level position is responsible for all Sales and Service of business in the Massachusetts market. This leader is expected to provide strategic direction and leadership to the sales and service team to achieve our sales, service and retention goals for all Middle Market business to achieve profitable growth.Fundamental Components:
Sets, communicates and executes operational strategy and performance measures in line with company, segment,
region and market goals
Ensures achievement of sales, membership growth, retention and profitability goals.
Analyzes competitive environment to support and improve pricing, underwriting and product development strategies
as well as service approach and sales efforts.
Cultivates and maintains strong relationships with all constituents (producers, plan sponsors, providers, customers,
regulatory agencies).
Recruits, attracts and retains a diverse workforce and engages and develops them through mentoring, coaching an1d
making available tools and resources.
Partners with cross-functional team and represents sales to ensure internal and external constituent needs are met.
Removes organizational barriers that impact the cross-functional work required to achieve results.
Educates constituents on Aetna specific policies, product information, and procedures as well as industry issues and
related current key business issues.BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:
At least 10 years of industry sales experience.
At least 5 years of sales management experience.
Education and Certification Requirements
College degree or equivalent work experience.
Licensure as required by state.EDUCATION
