Governor Baker has requested Secretary Sylvia Burwell, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, to allow Massachusetts the “flexibility” to maintain its small group market at 1-50 and an “indefinite”extension of the transition period previously granted beyond January 1, 2016 “of the current application of the small group definition”.  Letter.
