Malpractice insurance costs are driving providers out of many states, resulting in a severe shortage of such professions as obstetrics. Massachusetts must work towards meaningful malpractice reform to help protect providers from frivolous law suit awards. To preserve quality providers and quality care options for the residents of the state, MassAHU supports researching creative solutions and successful methods of curbing awards.
